Mending Kids International fundraiser

What an honor and privilege to volunteer with our robots at a fundraising gala for Mending Kids International, a charity that provides lifesaving surgeries for children in developing countries. The event honored its volunteers and raised thousands of dollars for future mission trips. We met some of the doctors, kids who have received surgeries, and celebrities who support this worthwhile charity, such as Mel Gibson, who auctioned off a stay at his home in Costa Rica. One little boy spent a lot of time with our robots and even gave WALL-E goldfish crackers. So cute!

Orange Public Library

WALL-E & Eve at Comikaze 2014

This was Eve's first public appearance, even though she's far from complete. She was a big hit with the crowd. She and WALL-E hold hands as they move around together.

Robots at Canyon Hills Library

Mike spoke at the Canyon Hills Library in Anaheim Hills about building R2-D2 and WALL-E. It was standing room only, with some people out the door who couldn't fit. Everyone enjoyed coming up for photos afterwards.

City of Commerce Library

Mike gave a presentation on building WALL-E and R2-D2 at the City of Commerce public library.

WALL-E visited pediatric patients at Children's Hospital Orange County.

WALL-E entertained the crowd at this charity event for children's causes, held at Paramount Studios.

WALL-E went to Cherry Park in Lake Forest for a movie night, where he brought a lot of smiles to kids and adults.

Fullerton Public Library Presentation

Mike spoke at the Fullerton Public Library, sharing how he built WALL-E and R2-D2, telling stories about places they've appeared, and encouraging the audience members to pursue their dreams and give back to others.
